Innovation
Since the beginning, BioHorizons has been committed to providing the most comprehensive line of evidence-based, scientifically-proven dental implants and tissue regeneration solutions. Our philosophy is that successful products are the result of rigorous Science and relentless Innovation. This approach to product development took root back in 1994 when the original Maestro implant design was first conceived in the biomedical engineering department at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). Throughout the years, BioHorizons has consistently applied biomedical engineering to numerous product innovations and today is the proud owner of 24 unique patent awards.
Materials
All BioHorizons implants are made of titanium alloy which is 1.5 to 3.5 times stronger than pure titanium implants from other companies. This strength difference can affect the long term success of an implant and is critical for small diameter implants.
Design
Dental professionals want tools and components that work and fit well. BioHorizons parts feature tight machine tolerances that provide a great surgical & restorative experience.
Simplicity
All BioHorizons implants and prosthetics are color-coded for easy identification. Restorative dentists can quickly identify implant type and diameter while the patient is in the chair.
Leadership
BioHorizons has a rich history of working with key thought leaders within the periodontal, oral surgery, prosthodontic and general practitioner communities to enhance our designs and adopt the latest techniques.
Value
BioHorizons provides the highest quality products and the most value. For example, every BioHorizons bone-level implant is available with a gold-hued, esthetic final abutment, an abutment screw, and a cover cap for submerged protocol
